Directions:
The Chilterns Neuro Centre is situated near the Royal Air Force Station, Halton. The Centre is a purpose-built building at the very top of Wood Lane on the Princess Mary Gate housing development. The Centre is clearly signposted from the B4009 Upper Icknield Way and the Clock Tower in Wendover.
BY CAR
SATNAV: Please use postcode HP22 5GF
Coming from Wendover:
At the clock tower in the centre of Wendover take the B4009 sign posted Tring (Signposted RAF Halton). Continue on this road, straight over the first mini roundabout. At the next roundabout, turn right, then immediately turn left onto Wood Lane. Follow Wood Lane all the way to the top. After you have passed the shop on your right carry straight on (do not follow the road which bears left). Oakwood Close is the next turn on your right. Keep straight ahead and you will see the wooden gates at the entrance to the Centre.
Coming from Tring and the A41:
From Tring and the A41 follow directions for the B4009 signposted Wendover. Following the road down the hill towards Aston Clinton there is a left hand turning for the B4009. Stay on this road for approximately 2 miles. As you arrive in Halton jet aircraft on your right and you will pass the main entrance to RAF Halton on the left. You will come to a roundabout where you turn left, then immediately turn left again onto Wood Lane. Follow Wood Lane all the way to the top. After you have passed the shop on your right carry straight on (do not follow the road which bears left). Oakwood Close is the next turn on your right. Keep straight ahead and you will see the wooden gates at the entrance to the Centre.
BY TRAIN
Nearest train station is Wendover which is on the London Marylebone line (approximately 2 miles from the Centre). There is a taxi rank at the station.
BY BUS
Arriva operates bus services from Aylesbury and Great Missenden. The closest bus stop to the Centre is at Halton Veterinary Surgery. It is then a 10 minute walk (uphill) to the Centre.
PARKING
Parking at the Centre is limited and able-bodied visitors are asked to consider parking in the Overflow Car Park which is indicated on the location map.
Roadside parking is also very limited and not recommended. If you do park on the housing estate, please do not park in any numbered or private spaces. If you need help or advice about travelling to the Centre, please call us on 01296 696133.
